It was a great trip, and Susan was fantastic to travel with. The only drawback is that having her there means all my stories have to be at least loosely based on reality. I don't care what any of you say, I DID wrestle that gorilla in africa.

The map to the right shows the approximate route Susan and I took on our trip through Central America (Aug/Sept 2004). We flew in and out of Belize city. We first went diving in the Cayes of Belize, then to Utila for some more diving. After that we completed the rest of the loop overland through Honduras, Guatemala and back to Belize. It was a great trip, and Susan was fantastic to travel with. The only drawback is that having her there means all my stories have to be at least loosely based on reality.
