The dozens of bodies on the cremation ghats in various states of burning is a little disturbing for those of us not used to it, but not nearly as disturbing as seeing people swim in the Ganges.
It seems to me that it is counter productive to lay your newly cleaned white sheets on a cow shit covered walkway to dry.
